WHEN YOU ARE IN CHRIST!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

MONDAY MARCH 23, 2020.

SUBJECT : WHEN YOU ARE IN CHRIST!

Memory verse"Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new (Second Corinthians 5 vs 17.)

READ: Romans 8 vs 1 - 2; Second Corinthians 5 vs 21:
Romans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
8:2: 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Second Corinthians 5:21: For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

INTIMATION:
“In Christ” means the covenant relationship that one establishes with Christ at the time of immersion into Christ by baptism. When one is baptized into Christ, he or she comes into this relationship with Christ. In Christ one does not consider things according to the flesh, but according to the spiritual nature of those who are in such covenant relationship with Christ. Since Christians have become new creatures in Christ, they consider all things from a new perspective.

One is new in Christ, not only because he has been cleansed of sins, but also because of his or her perspective of life after obedience to the gospel. When one is immersed into Christ he becomes a new creation, having been washed of all sins. However, though one is washed of sin, he or she still must bring his or her life into conformity with conduct that is directed by the word of God. As a new creation one must maintain the commitment to follow after the example of Jesus life and teachings.

Christianity is the life of God imparted to man, plus the wealth of the riches of God's nature also imparted to us, and the Spirit's unveiling of the wealth of God that was revealed in Christ. This truth was a faith-provoking, and a love-stimulating thing; realizing what Christ has done for us in His Redemptive work. Honestly, for a genuine believer, It revolutionizes the intellect, and thrills the spirit. It lifts a man out of the natural to the supernatural.

When the mind of a Christian is renewed on the strength of the covenant rights in  relationship with Christ, he or she can take his or her place as a child of God. He can enjoy a child's rights and privileges. He can assume a child's responsibility and step into the riches of the grace of God. That comes when a believer loses his sin consciousness, his sense of inferiority, noting that when you confess Christ and believe in your heart His redemptive work for you, you are a new creation, old things are passed away, and all things have become new. Your old self has been crucified with Christ, and your new self has risen up with Him in the new creation.

The sin consciousness is never lost in you until you know about righteousness. It does not only mean doing right deeds, righteousness means the ability to stand in the Father's presence without a sense of guilt, inferiority, or sin, just as free in the Father's presence as was Jesus. In the new creation we have righteousness reckoned for us; for our sake He made His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, virtually to be in sin who never knew any sin, so that in, and through Him we might become endued with the righteousness of God.

In the redemptive work of Christ, all sins; past, present, and future have been forgiven you provided you have fellowship in Christ. Why is it so? When we trust in Christ, and accept the redemption He wrought for us, we make an exchange—our sin for His righteousness. Our sin was poured into Christ at His crucifixion. His righteousness is poured into us at our conversion. In Christianity that is what is meant by Christ's atonement for sin.

We not only have righteousness reckoned to us, but also imputed and imparted to us in the new creation. The new man is created according to God, in righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4 vs 24). That thrills the heart. The very fact of a new creation demands a perfect righteousness which is given in Christ. In the new creation, we have now a perfect relationship—God is our very Father, we are His sons and daughters, able to stand in His presence without any sense of guilt or sin consciousness because of His righteousness imputed and imparted to us. Hallelujah!

Prayer: Abba Father, what a great and loving Father we have in You; ever merciful, and with unfailing compassion. When I meditate on Your loving kindness toward me, and remember what You wrought for me in redemption, I feel great chill run through my spines. O Lord, endue me with the spirit of complete obedience, gratefulness, and faithfulness to You, in Jesus’ Name I have prayed, Amen.

Topic: StandOut Forever💪🏿!

Text: Ps 125v1" Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever."

Trusting in the LORD is a job that requires an expensive patience🙁, a price too hard for corner benders😩 ( 2 Cor 6v14-16). There is a how to wait & a how not to, don't get it twisted (Prov 11v24).

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, while waiting, serve (Prov 11v30). May your testimony echo across generations in Jesus Name.

As soldiers, we must break chains. We're branded "The White Horses", because our garments are white & our heads lack no oil.

We inhale & exhale Holy Ghost fire 🔥, & can heal any land with the breath of our nostrils. No plague can take us for a ride, there is no corner to hide😉 (Ps 121v1-8).

Until you dare the devil 😈, he won't know your cost to God (Ps 125v2-3). Daniel & the 3 Hebrews had profound testimonies (Dan 6v1-28,3v17-25 ), are you ready?🤷🏾‍♂

"Standout Till You're Outstanding", is the profile heaven is looking for. Have you a clout to do a frown back at the devil 😈 (James 4v7)?

Many children got distinction in theology classes at 12 yrs, only Jesus lectured theologians to their amazement😲 (Luke 2v46-49 ).

Any ministers that's not backed up by Jesus is a sinister. What is destroying them is what we're surviving, because we're obedient & disciplined (Is 1v19-20).

We're all built to last forever by Calvary plan, it's an open cheque (2 Cor 5v17). Eternity is never free, you've to earn it by your stripes ( 2 Cor 6v4-10).

Those who said I won't stand a chance in combat against their god, the devil, are surprised I'm doing fine in Jesus 😎. Shame won't let them pick my call 🤐.

I pray for you, you'll Standout & your profile will shame your mockers forever in Jesus Name (Ps 89 v33-37). Receive grace upon grace!🤗

God bless you🤝.

GOD WELCOMES THE GUILTY!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

SUNDAY MARCH 22, 2020.

SUBJECT : GOD WELCOMES THE GUILTY!

Memory verse: "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool" (Isaiah 1 vs 18).

READ Isaiah 1 vs 18 - 20:
18: "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19: If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
20: But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword", for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

INTIMATION:
Never let guilt feelings of sin keep you from praying (seeking the face of God), which is your only means of restoration, because only God forgives sin. Do you feel that you could never come close to God because you have done something terrible? God welcome the guilty and will forgive you of any sin if you repent and seek His forgiveness. What God is mindful of is a sincere, humble, and contrite heart; a broken spirit that will manifest through repentance.

No matter how long you have been away from God, He is ready to hear from you and restore you to a right relationship with Him. Every situation can be salvaged if you are willing to turn to God. In Judges 16 vs 28 - 30,  we would observe that in spite of Samson's past, God still answered his prayer and destroyed the philistines' heathen temple and worshipers. He killed more people at his death than he did in life because of the mercy of God when he turned to Him in prayer.

One of the effects of sin in our lives is keeping us away from praying, but it is noteworthy that perfect moral behavior is not a condition for prayer. Though the stain of sin seems permanent, but only God can remove such stain of sin from our lives. We don't have to go through life permanently soiled. God's Word assures that if we are willing and obedient in turning to Him, Christ will forgive and remove our most indelible stains of sin.

Christ said, “...For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Matthew 9 vs 13). Christ came for sinners like you and I, and He expects us, the sinners, to come to Him for mercy. We can only go to God in prayer, acknowledging our need and admitting that we don't have all the answers, and God will come to our help. He desires to show mercy and His mercy endures forever.

Such people have turned their backs on God and rejected all faith, and are unwilling to ask for forgiveness. Even when they receive the prompting of the Holy Spirit, convicting them of sin, they reject it. And the deliberate rejection of the work of the Holy Spirit is blasphemy, because it is rejecting God Himself. Such person removes himself or herself from the only force that can lead him or her to repentance and restoration to God.

And the only unforgivable sin is the sin against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12 vs 31 - 32). What then is the sin against the Holy Spirit? The unforgivable sin is the deliberate refusal to acknowledge God, and His power in Christ, expressed through the Holy Spirit. It indicates a deliberate and irreversible hardness of heart. It reveals a heart attitude of unbelief and unrepentant, which attributes to Satan the work that the Holy Spirit accomplishes which is blasphemy.

Prayer: Abba Father, You are the only God, there is no other. Before You there is no God, with You there is no other God, and there will be no other God after You. O Lord, according to Your loving kindness, and tender mercies that endures forever, blot out my transgressions, and forgive me my iniquities, in Jesus name I have prayed, Amen.

TRIALS IN THE FIRES OF HARD TIMES!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

SATURDAY MARCH 21, 2020.

SUBJECT: TRIALS IN THE FIRES OF HARD TIME!

Memory verse: "So that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure,” (Second Thessalonians 1 vs 4.)

READ: James 1 vs 2 - 4; First Peter 1 vs 6 - 8:
James 1:2:My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,
1:3: knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
1:4: But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

First Peter 1:6: in this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
1:7: that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,
1:8: whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory:

INTIMATION:
Fires of hard times are the life’s difficulties we experience as we live for Christ. All believers face trials when they let their light shine into the darkness. They will experience troubles because they are trying to be God’s people in a perverse world. Believers must understand, therefore, that life’s trial is an occasion for joy when it comes as a result of one’s commitment. We must accept trials as part of the refining process that burns away impurities and prepares us to meet Christ. We must also understand that the many trials are occasions for spiritual growth and development of character.

Since God uses Satan’s work against him, then trials or persecution manifests that God is going to use Satan’s work to accomplish something that is good in the life every believer (Romans 8 vs 28). We should note that the candidates for heaven must be tried in the fires of hard times in order to prepare their characters for eternal dwelling. As gold is heated, impurities float to the top and can be skimmed off. Likewise, our trials, struggles, and persecutions refine and strengthen our faith, making us useful to God. Then we can count it all joy when we have to endure many trials.

Instead of asking, “Why me?” we should respond to suffering with a new sets of responses: (1) Confidence that God knows, plans, and directs our lives for the good. It’s hard to calculate sometimes, but God always provides His love and strength for us. He leads us toward a better future. (2) Perseverance when facing grief, anger, sorrow, and pain. We express our grief, but we don’t give in to bitterness and despair. (3) Courage because with Jesus as Brother and Savior, we need not be afraid. He who suffered for us will not abandon us. Jesus carries us through everything.

The key of surviving life’s difficulties is in patience, faith and joy in the Lord. When faced with crushing troubles, we should have faith in God because it pleases Him, and be patient, for God uses our trials for our good and for His glory, knowing that God will not forsake His people (Deuteronomy 4 vs 31). The godly life in Christ brings about persecution because Satan will rise up against all that God represents in this world. God is fair and just, and will give us patience in our suffering because He has not forgotten us. In His perfect timing, He will relieve our suffering and punish those who persecute us.

The apostle Paul said in Romans 5 vs 3 - 4, “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope.” Paul tells us that in the future we will become, but until then we must overcome. This means that we will experience difficulties that will help us grow. We rejoice in suffering, not because we like pain or deny its tragedy, but because we know God is using life’s difficulties and Satan’s attacks to build our character. The problems we run into will develop our perseverance, which in turn will strengthen our character, deepen our trust in God, and give us greater confidence about the future.

Your troubles may be an indication that you are taking a stand for Christ. When you do so, you are experiencing the privilege of showing that you are worthy of God’s kingdom (Second Thessalonians 1 vs 11). As believers, our calling from God is to become like Christ; be patient in suffering, and have faith in God to actualize, at the long run, His purposes in our lives. Becoming like Christ is a gradual, lifelong process that will be completed when we see Christ face to face (First John 3 vs 2).

Some people say that troubles are the result of sin or lack of faith, but they may be a part of God’s plan for believers. Our problems can help us look upward and forward, instead of inward (Philippians 3 vs 13 - 14), they can build strong character, and they can provide us with opportunities to comfort others who also are struggling (Second Corinthians 1 vs 3 - 5). We must acknowledge that the proving of testing of our faith produces a character that is able to endure trials. It is also an opportunity for our faith to be proved genuine and strengthened. As believers we should react to various trials and temptations that we all encounter in life with endurance, steadfastness, and patience. We are to let these things do a thorough work in us so that we will come through them stronger and better than we were before.

Prayer: Abba Father, in all things I give You thanks, knowing that Your thoughts for me is of good and not of evil, to give me a future and a hope. I will rejoice in any situations I  find myself because I know my Redeemer lives. Endue me with the spirit of endurance, steadfastness, and perseverance in the face of life’s trials, in Jesus’ Name I have prayed, Amen.

Topic: Red Card To Corona!

Text: Luke 4v35" But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him."

The atmosphere 🌦 is in your power to control, learn how (Deut 32v1-4). Today, your tongues👅 shall receive that authority in Jesus Name (Ps 18v44-45,Num 14v28 ).

Jesus supplies the dews of heaven daily, & has injected💉 anti-corona into it for our sake (Ps 107v20). Accept Jesus & the prince of the air will expire (Jn 3v8).

Schools, Companies, are shutting down, Made Pages quarantined. The devil needs more cheap fame; fear sells (Rom 8v15). So, how many cows 🐄 has Corona killed on your street? 🤷🏾‍♂

Here is the truth (Jn 17v17), "If you breath in Holy Spirit's refiners fire 🔥 daily, Corona Virus can't insult your soul". Receive fresh fire 🔥now in Jesus Name ( Dan 11v32).

There is an office called "THE PALE HORSE"☠, that's what the devil 😈 exercised to achieve this Virus (Rev 6v8). It's his world that is shutting down, not ours (Ps 72v13-14 ).

Sensitization programs by the government across the globe is commendable😷, but no need to blow things out of proportion😲 (Ps 91v3-6).

"COVID-19" is not a signal of Jesus' arrival, Ebola wasn't. Virus can't introduce Jesus, dislodge jejune testimony. The demons assigned to breathe paleness into weak souls will expire soon (Exo 14v13-14 ).

As a child of the PRINCE OF PEACE, your right to live peacefully in your God-given territory shouldn't be threatened by the Pale Horse's package. Divine Immunity is all you need, stop jittering!😁(1 Pet 2v24).

Let's Pray:

1) LORD JESUS, I take victory over the Pale horse's Office for me & my family in Jesus Name (Col 2v14-15).

2) Father, thanks for dwelling in my temple as the Balm in Gilead in Jesus Name.

God bless you🤝.

OBEY AND BE BLESSED!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

FRIDAY MARCH 20, 2020.

SUBJECT: OBEY AND BE BLESSED!

Memory verse: "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land." (Isaiah 1 vs 19.)

READ: Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 16:
30:15: See, I have set before You today life and good, death and evil,
30:16: in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgements, that you may live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

INTIMATION:
Being obedient is submitting to authority; to comply with orders—the practice of doing what one is told. Obedience to God is doing the will of God, and willingness to forsake all that are outside God’s will. True obedience is willingness to obey commands from the heart. Heartless obedience of law is worthless before God. His laws are written in the Bible and are clearly evident in the world around us. Obeying them is reasonable, sensible, and beneficial. We could expect blessings when we conduct ourselves according to the moral principles of God. The most difficult part of obeying God’s laws is simply deciding to start now.

Not being obedient is, in my considered opinion, disagreeing with God, and consequently, refusing to access the promises and blessings of God. The Scripture likened disobedience to rebellion and stubbornness to God. Rebellion and stubbornness are serious sins. They involve far more than being independent and strong-minded. Scriptures equates them with divination (witchcraft) and idolatry (First Samuel 15 vs 23).

Rebellion against God is, perhaps, the most serious sin of all because as long as a person rebels, he or she closes the door of forgiveness and restoration with God.
Christians today always make rituals of going to church, taking communion, serving in units, paying tithes etc. But these activities are empty if our reasons for doing them are selfish. God doesn't want these sacrifices and offerings without an attitude of devotion (obedience) to Him. The prophet Samuel told Saul, "To obey is better than sacrifice" (First Samuel 15 vs 22). All we should do is to give God the obedience and lifelong service He desires from us, and the promises of God and the provisions thereto, are all ours.

The Christian rituals are not bribes to make God overlook our character faults. All God wants is our sincere faith and devotion. The Christian rituals ought to be outward sign of an inward faith in God. Many today have come to place more faith in the rituals of their religion than in God they worship. God does not take pleasure in your outward expressions if your inward faith is missing (Hosea 6 vs 6). Though religious rituals can help people understand God and nourish their relationship with Him, but they are helpful only if it is carried out with an attitude of love and obedience to God.

Have you ever said you would obey God if you know what He wanted? Have you ever complained that obedience is too difficult for a mere human? These are unacceptable excuses. All God’s laws are good, and are for our benefit in obedience (See Deuteronomy 28 vs 1 - 13). The strength to obey comes from our relationship with God, who is also the source of our strength for; “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens m” (Philippians 4 vs 13). The power we receive in union with Christ is sufficient to do His Will and to face all challenges that arise from our commitment to doing it.

Prayer: Abba Father, trust and obedience to Your Word is the only access to Your promises and provisions. Strengthen me, O Lord, with the spirit of raw obedience to You and Your Word, in Jesus’ Name I have prayed, Amen.

THE CERTAINTY OF GOD’S WORD!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

THURSDAY MARCH 19, 2020.

SUBJECT: THE CERTAINTY OF GOD’S WORD!

Memory verse: "God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should repent, has He said, and will He not do it? (Numbers 23 vs 19.)

READ: Isaiah 55 vs 10 - 11; Matthew 24 vs 35; Hebrews 6 vs 17 - 18:
Isaiah 55:10: For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,
55:11: so shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Matthew 24:35: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

Hebrews 6:17: Therefore,God, desiring even more to show “to the heirs of promise” the unchangeableness of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath,
6:18: so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

INTIMATION:
God is eternal, and His Word is equally eternal. The certainty of God’s Word is severally enunciated in the Scriptures. In the Gospel of John 1 vs 1, the Scripture says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” This means that God existed alongside His Word and they are inseparable. The nature of God is the same as His Word. God is eternal, perfect, constant, unchanging, incorruptible, and unfailing, and so is His Word. No word from God can ever be defaulted. Every Word of God is pure (Proverbs 30 vs 5), and forever settled in heaven (Psalm 119 vs 89).

God is not a man that can change his mind according to his own desires, nor can be manipulated by the whims of humans. God’s Word (promises) cannot be changed because they come from the One who cannot lie, neither has He ever broken a promise or an oath. Since God is unique in eternity as the omniscient being who has originated all things, then there is no being before whom He might lie. It is thus impossible for God to lie since He cannot lie to Himself. He cannot lie or deceive men because there is no darkness in Him at all (James 1 vs 13; First John 1 vs 5).

The Word of God shall stand forever (Isaiah 40 vs 8), and you are trusting in that Word. And only in God’s eternal Word will we find lasting solutions to our problems and needs. The Bible says in Second Timothy 2 vs 13, "...He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself." When this gets into your blood. It gives you a warrior spirit, and makes you confident of your place in Christ. It makes you know that you are what He says you are, and that you can do what He says you can do. Your confidence is in that Word that cannot be broken.

When you get tied up with God; when you and God become identified as you do in the new creation, His nature is imparted on you. The apostle Peter captures it this way, “Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever” (First Peter I vs 23). You pass out of the realm of "I can't" into the realm of "I can." You can no longer be a failure, because you know you can do all things in Him that strengthens you. You feel like David must have felt when he said, "For by You I can run against a troop: by my God have I can leap over a wall." (Second Samuel 22 vs 30; Psalm 18 vs 29). You become a master of circumstances.

In the passage we read today in Hebrews, the Scripture mentions two things that makes it impossible for God to lie—His nature and His Word. God embodies all truth, you can be secure in His promises; you don't need to wonder if He will change His plans because by His nature He will never change (Malachi 3 vs 6). Our hope is secure and immovable; anchored in God and His Word, just as a ship anchor holds firmly to the seabed. Impassable gulfs will become level roads to you when you realize the nature of God’s Word, and that He watches over His Word and is ready to perform it (Jeremiah 1 vs 12). All you are to do is carry it into His presence and repeat it and say, "Father, this is what you said." You just look up and say, “Father I thank you, for this is Your Word."

God has made even His throne back of His Word. I wonder how much some of our hearts can take it. It is like God throwing a cable about the throne, dropping the cable over for us to grasp. Think of it this way; He said, "Do you see, I am putting my throne as surety for My Word. My very Self is enwrapped in this." This is awesome! What this means is that if the Word should fail, it will dethrone the Triune God, but this is absolutely impossible, even when the heaven and earth fail and pass away.

Prayer: Abba Father, Your Word is proven, and is a shield to all who trust in You. Let my eyes of understanding be continually enlightened by the revelational knowledge in Your Word, that I may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of the glory Your inheritance in me, in Jesus’ Name I have prayed, Amen.
PRAISE THE LORD!
