He Is Ever Ready to Assist You!
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.” Isaiah 40:29 (KJV)
Knowing that God is always ready to give you assistance boosts your confidence in Him. There are so many activities on earth, some of which leave us weary and weak. Sometimes when we feel weary and weak we resort to the wrong things, such as drugs, alcohol, and pleasure, and we confide in people in the attempt to solve the problem, only to find that the problem is becoming worse. Dear beloved, if this is your situation, then it is time to meditate on the opening scripture and seek God for help. Indeed, He gives power to the faint or weary and might or strength to the weak. Humbly go before Him in prayer and ask for all the assistance you need. Remember that He is still calling all who are weary and heavy-laden to come so that He will give them rest (Matthew 11:28). Beloved, don’t feel too sinful to approach God. All He requires is a remorseful and broken spirit to approach His throne of grace, and He will give you all the support you need to do right this time (Psalm 51:17, Hebrews 4:16). He is a faithful God, so you can trust Him. If He gave His only begotten Son to the whole world, then He is capable of giving you all that you need in this life and in the life to come. After receiving His support, praise and thank Him and always be in fellowship with Him. Let others also know that they can trust Him, and you will be winning souls for the Lord and He will continually bless you. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
Prayer Point: My loving and gracious Father, I’m so grateful for Your love for me. I come before Your throne in humility. I’m weak and weary from addiction to alcohol, drugs, all manner of sins, etc. Please forgive me and give me the grace to always overcome and do what is right in Your sight, so that You can continually bless me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
