GRACE INHIBITORS!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

MONDAY JULY 13, 2020.

SUBJECT:  GRACE INHIBITORS!

Memory verse:  "And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” (Matthew 11 vs 6.)

READ:  Psalm 37 vs 8 - 9; 39 vs 1 - 2; Philippians 2 vs 14 - 15:
Psalm 37:8: Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm.
37:9: For evil doers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

39:1: I said, “I will guard my ways, lest I sin with my tongue; I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle, while the wicked are before me.”
39:2: I was mute with silence, I held my peace even from good; and my sorrow was stirred up.

Philippians 2:14: Do all things without complaining or disputing,
2:15: that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

INTIMATION:
There are several things that can keep us from receiving the grace of God. One of these is ignorance, not knowing enough to call on the Lord, asking Him to pour out His grace in time of need. The prophet Hosea said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” (Hosea 4 vs 6.)

Others are our attitudinal problems; worrying, complaining, murmuring, anger etc. They can never mix with grace. Many times the mistake we make is griping and fussing from daylight to dark, at the same time we are trying to activate the power of God in our life to help us solve our problems. Many times the reason we are not able to tap into the grace of God is simply because our attitude is all wrong. We cannot expect God to intervene on our behalf in a situation if we are constantly grumbling, angry with ourselves, or with others, fault-finding, complaining, murmuring, nit-picking, jealousy and envy.

All these bad attitudes are very destructive emotions. They reveal a lack of faith in God, believing that God loves us and is in control. We should not do all that. Instead, we should trust in God, giving ourselves to Him for His use and safekeeping. When you dwell on your problems, you will become anxious and angry. But if you concentrate on God and His goodness, you will find peace and inner strength to tarry.

Like King David, resolve to always keep your tongue from sin; not complaining about anything to anybody, even when you have reasons to complain. Instead take your complaints directly to God. We all have complaints about our job, finances, and other unfavorable situations in our lives, but complaining to others may make them think that God cannot take care of us. It may also look as if we blame God for our troubles, and it may result into our turning away from Him. Take your complaints directly to God, turn to Him in times of troubles, for only Him can take it and provide an answer.

There is no way to receive God's grace while seeking sympathy from others or fellowshipping with self-pity. God will heal our wound if we don't seek others to nurse them. Many times we want the power of God to come upon us and solve some problem for us, but at the same time we want all our friends to feel sorry for us.

For instance, if we are having financial problems, we may go into our prayer closet and cry out to the Lord, "O Father, please help me. I'm in over my head financially, and I need Your help so bad. I'm trusting You to help me, because without You I have no hope. Lord, You are the only One who can save me!"

Then, as soon as prayer time is over, you get on the phone telling your friends, co-workers, and relations, how tight it is for you and family, how hard you have worked and nothing is happening, how your husband or wife has not been helping and is idle, how underprivileged you are, how nobody is helping you, on and on. You want God to help you, but you also want everybody else to feel sorry for you. If we want to receive God's grace, we have got to learn to depend upon Him totally and not upon others' sympathy or our own self-pity.

It is not wrong to share your burdens in a balanced way and with right motives. But beware of seeking pity. God never leads us where He cannot keep us. His grace is always sufficient for us—in any and every circumstances of life. There is no sense in our griping and complaining, worrying and finagling, constantly trying to figure out things, working ourselves up into a stew and getting all frustrated and confused. If we do, it shows that we have no faith at all in God's abiding grace.

Our lives should be characterized by moral purity, patience, and peacefulness, so that we will “shine as lights” in a dark and depraved world. A transformed life is an effective witness to the power of God’s Word, and a magnet for His grace. Don’t let dissensions snuff out your light. Shine out for God.

Prayer: Abba Father, the earth is Yours and all its fullness. My needs are known to You from the very beginning because You are my Maker. My sufficiency is in You. Engrace me with the right attitude of total dependence on You in all things, in Jesus’ Name I prayed, Amen.

Topic: To The Field ⛑️.

Text: Joel 3v9-10 " Proclaim this among the Nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men. Let all men of war draw near, let them come up".

Good day beautiful Rose 🌹 of Sharon, thank You for making us see a Brand New Day. We—the little war lords of love👫🏼and safety 🚑 that You made are here to worship You.

At your command, we've filed out to serve humanity. Help us deal with matters arising competently, as we reach out to souls. We ride on Calvary victory in Jesus Name🙏.

The Field is a place where real life issues are tabled and settled. Proportionate responses that can improve life for all & sundry, mustn't be dodged (Zeph 1v12).

Pretence soils Originality, we're in a war🤬. May God give us divine ideas that'll clamp down the devil 😈 behind every Crisis on fields in Jesus Name.

Marriages are going through a lot. Divorce, abortion, many surrogate mothers have regrets. Companies are retrenching, unemployment skyrocketing🤷🏼‍♂️.

Robbery, child trafficking, money laundering, rape, cultism, avoidable accidents, get nods from dignified quarters. We can't throw in the towel (Prov 11v30-31)!

As we strive to take over more territories for His Glory, by stopping the devils robbing naive people; we can only best do that with Love 💌. Victory won with humans bloodshed is no victory at all (Prov 29v10).

Doctrines hasn't solved much. Improving on them to consider our realities could prove perfect, since saving & aligning humanity with Divinity is the goal (Is 8v16).

GOD placed you in that field to make a difference, stand up & beat your plowshares into swords ⚔️ . You can give humanity victory in Jesus Name 😃(Rom 8v19).

Prayer: Dear LORD, give me the grace to save victims on battle fields without shooting myself in the foot in Jesus Name.

God Bless You🤝.

A LIVE WELL LIVED!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

SUNDAY JULY 12, 2020.

SUBJECT : A LIFE WELL LIVED!

Memory verse:
"
But David, after he had served his own generation by the Will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption."
(Acts 13 vs 36.)

READ: Acts 13
vs 20 - 23:
13:20:
"After that He gave them judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
13:21: And afterward they asked for a king; so God gave them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.
13:22: And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.'
13:23: From this man's seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior - Jesus -.

INTIMATION:
God created all things to serve His purposes. You and I are created for some purposes. Those who lived purposefully for God were remarkably acknowledged by Him, and that is, "A life well lived." In our memory verse, the Bible strikingly said about David, "But David, after he had served his own generation by the Will of God, fell asleep..." David, in his generation served remarkably in the Will of God. He had, "A life well lived."

In the passage we read today, It is then not surprising that God testified of David, called him a man after His own heart. The Scripture said, "And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, 'I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My Will." There is no greater compliment than this—‘who will do My will.’ Imagine such epitaph chiseled on your tombstone: that “you served God's purpose in your generation.” My prayer is that people will say that about me when I die. It is also my prayer that people will say it about you, too. This phrase is the ultimate definition of "A life well lived."

A life well lived is all about purpose-driven life; doing God's Will in the world that earns you eternal glory—to live with Him forever. God created you, at this time in history, for a purpose. Neither past or future generations can serve God's purpose in this generation. But only we, in this generation, can. Like Esther God created you "for such a time as this." (Esther 4 vs 14.)

God is looking for people to use. The Bible, in Second Chronicles 16 vs 9, says, "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him...." Will you be a person God can use for His purposes? Will you serve God's purpose in your generation? Will God say of you, "He will live his life well, serving My purpose in his generation."

Any Christian chasing after, "A life well lived," would have the counsel of the apostle Paul recorded in First Corinthians 9 vs 24 - 27, "Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified." The Christian race requires great self-discipline and commitment.

Paul said that he ran straight to the goal with purpose in every step. His only reason for living was to fulfill the purposes God had for him. He said, "For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." (Philippians 1 vs 21.) He was indifferent of either dying or living, either way, he would fulfill God's purposes. If he lived, it is for good to others whom he labors to teach the ways of Christ. And if he died, he would join Christ to live in eternity with Him. Either way he wins.

The sports race illustration used by the apostle Paul above, expresses the required purpose and discipline for believers. As Christians, the required life takes hard work, self-denial, and grueling preparation. We are running toward our heavenly reward. The essential disciplines of prayer, Bible study and meditation, and worship, equip us to run with vigor and stamina. Don't merely observe from the grandstand; don't just turn out to jog a couple of laps each morning. Train diligently knowing that your spiritual progress depends on it.

One day, history on earth will come to a close, but eternity will go on forever. When fulfilling your purpose seems tough, don't give in to discouragement. Remember your reward, which will last forever. The Bible says, "For our light afflictions, which is for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." (Second Corinthians 4 vs 17.) Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Imagine what it is going to be like one day, when we have achieved, with all of us standing before the throne of God presenting our lives in deep gratitude and praise to Christ. Together we will say, "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for You have created all things, and for your pleasure they are, and were created." We would praise Him for His plan, and haven achieved, according to His plans and purposes for us, would live with Him forever!

Prayer: Abba Father, eternity with You is my utmost desire. Help me in my quest for a life pleasing to You, and that You may engrace to run my race with and total dedication to You, in Jesus' Name I have prayed. Amen.

BECOMING GOD’S SUPERMAN!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

SATURDAY JULY 11, 2020.

SUBJECT: BECOMING GOD’S SUPERMAN!

Memory verse: "Most Assuredly, I say to you, He who believes in Me, the works that I do He will do also; and greater works than these He will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14 vs 12.)

READ: Mark 11 vs 22 - 26:
11:22: So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God,
11:23: For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
11:24: Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
11:25: “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
11:26: But If you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

INTIMATION:
God's Superman is the “New Creation” man recreated in Christ Jesus; he confessed with his mouth the Lord Jesus and believed in his heart that God raised Him from the dead, and is saved (Romans 9 vs 10). He knows, and fully harnesses, his inheritance in Christ at recreation. It’s noteworthy that the recreated man (the believer) has that same spirit that was at work in Jesus, the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. And that same Spirit will be at work in him and enable him to do what Christ did and even more, working in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said these things because there were no believers in the time while Jesus Christ was preaching. They were Jews under law. The believing ones came into being at Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon men. It means that a believer is a New Creation Man. The New Creation Man is a partaker of God's nature. He is really an incarnation. He has received the nature and life of God. Then he invites the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead, who came the day of Pentecost, to make His home in his body. This man not only has God's nature, but has God actually living in him.

This believer, this new creation in Christ, is a child of Deity. He stands  before the world as a very branch of the vine. He is taking the place of Jesus in the world. This man is with God's nature, and God is indwelling him. And he has been given a legal right, and the power of attorney to the use of the Name of Jesus, the name that is above every other name in heaven, on earth, and beneath the earth, and at the mention of the name every knee bows. If this doesn't constitute a superman, then I don't know what a superman is

In the passage we read today, Jesus used the illustration of moving the mountain to show that God can do the impossible with the ‘New Creation’ man. He has faith in God, hence he pleases God (Mark 11 vs 22; Hebrews 11 vs 6). God answers prayer of the believer when he prays in faith, believing in his heart that he will receive his petition, and his must be clean and free from grudges. And when his request is for the good of the kingdom, he receives his petition and much more is added to him. When you pray a selfless prayer that is good for the kingdom of God, you are praying according to His Will, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6 vs 33), and you rest assured you will receive your petition because you pray according to His Will (First John 5 vs 14 - 15).

Prayer: Abba, Father, thank You for all You wrought for me in redemption, and the gift of Your Holy Spirit. By grace You adopted me as Your son, and recreated me a superman in Christ Jesus to do exploits on earth. My faith is anchored in You. I pray that nothing will take away my trust and faith in You, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

WORLDLINESS IS ENMITY WITH GOD!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

FRIDAY JULY 10, 2020.

SUBJECT: WORLDLINESS IS ENMITY WITH GOD!

Memory verse: “Adulterers and Adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with world is enmity with God? Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4 vs 4.)

READ: First John 2 vs 15 - 17:
2:15: Do not love the world or things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2:16: For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
2:17: And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

INTIMATION:
Worldliness is the love and care of the things of this world, that is, having friendship with the world. The materialist is an adulterer in that he has wedded himself as a member of the body of Christ to that which is of this world. He has broken the covenant he made with Christ in order to give himself to the world. It’s to be carnally minded—living according to the desires of the flesh, that is setting our mind on things of the flesh. And it drives the love of God out of you, and puts you up as enemies of God.

Worldliness is characterized by both internal and external behaviors. The internal worldliness which begins in the heart, are specifically expressed in three forms: (1) lust of the flesh—preoccupation with gratifying physical desires; (2) lust of the eyes—coveting and accumulating things, bowing to the god of materialism; and (3) pride of life—obsession with one’s status or importance. The external worldliness is predominantly displayed in class consciousness, and attraction to pleasures.

By contrast, God’s value system is quite different from the world’s system. God hates pride, but values humility, self-control, meekness, gentleness, and generosity. And because of His value system, that is quite distinct from the world’s value system, loving the things of the world, is putting oneself up as an enemy of God because they lure us into wrong doing. In the world there are temptations that are produced wherein one is drawn away from the love of God to satisfy the the desires of the flesh in an ungodly manner. Pleasure that keeps us from pleasing God is sinful. However, there is nothing wrong with wanting a pleasurable life. God gives us good gifts that He wants us to enjoy (First Timothy 6 vs 17).

Those who love activities and possessions of this world do not love the Father, for they are obsessed with the things of this world. One cannot love God with the love with which God seeks to be loved, and at the same time, engage himself in the pleasures of this world. That does not mean that the rich must forsake their riches, for many rich brethren have the gift of making money for the benefit of the work of the body of Christ. Therefore, the rich are not obligated to give themselves into poverty. However, those who have been consumed with the things of the world have taken their minds off that which is to come.  And that which is to come is the destruction of all that for which one has worked in this world.

Christians are not to attach themselves to the thinking of the world in a way that they are diverted from keeping their minds on those things that are above (Colossians 3 vs 1 - 2). Those who would pattern their lives after the world, therefore, have forgotten that they have attached themselves to something that will not exist forever. If they have not patterned their thinking after that which is eternal, they will not be prepared to exist in eternity. It is for this reason that the worldly minded people will not inherit eternal life. Whenever there is a compromise in one’s relationship with the world and God, lukewarmness or apostasy in reference to the truth results. One’s relationship with the world must be defined and controlled by his love of God,

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world that are usually selfish and often corrupting. Wise Christians decide that worldly behavior is off-limits for them. Our refusal to conform to this world’s values, however, must go even deeper than just behavior and customs; it must be firmly planted in our mind. Allow the Holy Spirit of the living God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. The Spirit will renew, reeducate, and redirect your mind to be truly transformed.

Prayer: Abba Father, endue me with the humble spirit of total obedience to Your precepts, and to put away the desires, cares and pleasures of this world that are contrary to my obeying and serving You, in Jesus’ Name I have prayed. Amen.

YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE!!

EVERYDAY IN THE WORD!

THURSDAY JULY 9, 2020.

SUBJECT: YOUR ATTITUDE DETERMINES YOUR ALTITUDE

Memory verse: ""Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, without walls." (Proverbs 25 vs 28.)

READProverbs 8 vs 32 - 36:
8:32: Now therefore, listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
8:33: Hear instruction and be wise, and do not disdain it.
8:34: Blessed is the man who listens to Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the post of My doors.
8:35: For whoever finds Me finds life, and obtains favor from the LORD;
8:36: But he who sins against Me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate Me love death.

INTIMATION:
How long you stay in your problem depends on your reaction to the problem. "Your attitude determines your altitude." How quick you can come out of the problem depends on your attitude in the problem. You get trapped in the problem if your choices within the problem are not right choices. Our attitudes color our whole personality. We cannot always choose what happens to us, but we can choose our attitude toward each situation. The secret to a happy heart is filling our minds with thoughts that are true, pure, and lovely; thoughts that dwell on the good things in life (Philippians 4 vs 8). This should be our secret as we face the struggles of daily living.

The children of Israel were in the wilderness for forty years when the actual journey could have taken them days. Experts have calculated that the Israelites could have walked across the wilderness in ninety days, but it took them forty years. Why? It is because of their attitude while in their problem in the wilderness. They were forgetful, doubtful, unfaithful, and ungrateful. Their negative attitudes only caused them to rebel even more and bring about even greater troubles. It eroded their faith in God and encouraged thoughts of giving up and turning back.

How you conduct yourself in the problem will determine how long you stay in the problem. It took God one day to get the children of Israel out of Egypt; it took Him years to get Egypt out of them. Murmuring, complaining, rebelling against spiritual authority, refusing to forgive another, and disobedience to the known will of God can keep you in the problem for the rest of your life. Stop it!

Do you know that some people, even believers, have been trapped in the same problem for years due to their attitude. Often such attitude runs in a family line that they become trapped in the same problem of their father, and the daughters become trapped in the same problem of the mother. The Bible calls such problems generational curses. When the same bad habits control you and those you love from generation to generation, you are mired in the pits of an inherited problem that can only be resolved by the supernatural deliverance of the Holy Spirit.

I really don't think that anybody would like to be trapped in a problem, not even you reading this message! With God no problem is intractable, because nothing is impossible with Him. Therefore, don't be ensnared in your problem, which is a fallout of your attitude. It's time to break off from that bondage and prepare yourself to receive your provision. Aristotle said, "I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies; the hardest victory is the victory over self."

God has guiders or signposts to guide you through the problems to your promised land. These signposts are to be honored and obeyed. Remove them, ignore them, or try to take short cuts, and you will die in your problem. God has given us a Road Map—His Word. Within the supernatural Guide—His Word—are many "guiders" or "signposts" leading out of the wilderness. Among them are faith, diligence, excellence, knowledge, patience, and integrity. Look at your checklist to find out where you are lagging.

The children of Israel were faced with two choices; wander aimlessly in the wilderness for years, or go directly to their provision. Their attitude determined their choices. We are faced with the same choices; in which direction are you going? Are you going to stay in your problem, or are you going to walk into your provision? It is time to walk away from the problem. What you walk away from determines what God brings you to. You must live Egypt before you can reach your promise land. Look at your attitudes and examine what you allow to enter your mind and what you choose to dwell on. You may need to make some changes. Go straight to God, and surrender all to Him. Listen to Him, and obey.

The path to open rebellion against God begins with dissatisfaction and skepticism, then moves to grumbling about both God and present circumstances. Next come bitterness and resentment, followed finally by rebellion and open hostility. If you are often dissatisfied, skeptical, complaining, or bitter—beware! These attitudes lead to rebellion and separation from God. Any choice to side against God is a step in the direction of letting go of Him completely and making your own way through life which leads to a dark end.

Prayer: Abba Father, endue me with the spirit of raw and complete obedience to You, and let Your Word be my guide in all I do, in Jesus’ Name I have prayed, Amen.
PRAISE THE LORD!

The Piercing Power of the Word

The Piercing Power of the Word For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul...
